These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Rieffer Media (“Rieffer Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Rieffer Media’s services, including our text messaging services and listings platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

General Service Terms

What Rieffer Media provides

Rieffer Media provides messaging services to local businesses, including text messaging tools that businesses use to communicate with their customers, and listing services that connect local businesses, service providers, and customers. Rieffer Media’s role is to provide the listings and messaging platform — we do not provide the underlying services offered by the businesses that use our platform.

Business responsibilities

Each business that lists with or messages through Rieffer Media is solely responsible for its own offers, products, services, pricing, availability, and the quality of the work or services it provides. Rieffer Media does not guarantee, endorse, or warrant any business’s offers or services, and any description of a business or its services comes from that business.

Hiring and payment

Any hiring, contracting, or purchasing decision is made directly between the customer and the business or service provider. Payment for goods and services is made directly between those parties — Rieffer Media is not a party to those transactions and does not collect, hold, or process payments for work performed between a customer and a business, except for fees a business pays Rieffer Media for its own use of our services.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Rieffer Media’s services only for lawful purposes. You may not use our messaging services to send unsolicited, bulk, or unlawful messages, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with a business.

Changes to these Terms

Rieffer Media may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

SMS Terms

These SMS Terms apply to text messaging programs operated by Rieffer Media.

Program description

Rieffer Media sends text messages on behalf of local businesses. These messages may include:

• Automatic text-back replies sent when a call to a business goes unanswered, so the caller can still reach the business;
• Service reminders sent to a business’s past customers, such as reminders that a recurring service is due;
• Alerts and updates that you have opted in to receive from a business, such as new availability or special offers.

By providing your mobile phone number to a business that uses Rieffer Media, or by opting in to one of these programs, you consent to receive text messages from or on behalf of that business through Rieffer Media.

Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from that program. After you reply STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact Rieffer Media at aaaservices@rocketmail.com.

Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier and your device, and Rieffer Media cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.

Supported carriers and eligibility

The Rieffer Media messaging programs are available to subscribers of major U.S. mobile carriers; participation may not be available on all carriers or devices. You must be the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or have the account holder’s permission to enroll it.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program Terms

Rieffer Media operates text-message services for local businesses, including missed-call text-back. When a call to a participating business goes unanswered, the caller may receive a text from the business’s service number asking how the business can help. Follow-up texts are sent only as part of that conversation or service, such as appointment or lead follow-ups.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
